Located in the grounds of Stradbroke Primary School, the nursery school is open to children aged 2-5 years each weekday from 8:55am to 11:55am during term time. We also have a lunch club that operates from 11:55am - 12:55pm daily.
The nursery operates from one main room, with toilet and nappy changing facilities available. There is easy access into an outside play area for the children, and we have use of the school playground and field for any larger activities such as nature trails and ride on toys.
Activities are planned and resources are provided to correspond with 'The Early Years Foundation Stage' (EYFS) which is issued by the government and sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five.
The EYFS covers:
Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
Communication and Language.
Literacy & Mathematics.
Understanding the World.
Expressive Arts & Design.
There is a wide variety of indoor and outdoor equipment and activities for all age groups and abilities which are designed to be fun, stimulating and developmental.
